Robert Martin pivotal figure in the development of the Black Mountain College Yearbook project, where he served as the Chief Technology Officer and lead Software Engineer.

Before joining the BMC Yearbook initiative, Robert honed his skills in a variety of settings, from fast-paced startups like Americana.io to tech giants like Meta, and has made significant contributions to both fledgling companies and billion-dollar enterprises. A decade in the tech industry not only refined his technical abilities but also enriched his perspective on building software that resonates with users and stands the test of time.

Robert's decision to join the BMC Yearbook project was driven by a shared vision to preserve and illuminate the historical significance of Black Mountain College. As a graduate of the University of North Carolina Asheville, Rob often heard of the college's influence. Through his technical acumen, Robert has played a critical role in ensuring the project not only serves as a repository of the college's legacy but also as a testament to the power of technology in bringing historical narratives to the forefront of contemporary discourse.
