Robert Leon was a student in the summer of 1946. After BMC, he received his master’s degree in psychology from the University of Chicago. He was a writer and collector of African quilts. His collection was exhibited many times across the country and upon his passing, his collection of over 3,000 quilts were donated to the museum at Berkeley.
