1940 - 1940

Robert Haas was a Viennese photographer, calligrapher, and printer who was a resident photographer from April 17 to June 10 in 1940. He taught students photography and made a photographic study of the college. He later went on to establish The Ram Press in New York.

College bulletin shared, "Mr Haas, Viennese photographer and typographer, the only Austrian to win both the Grand Prix and the Gold Medal, has spent the last two months here and has been making a photographic study of community life and of the spring dramatic productions for the college."
