Ora Marie Williams attended the Summer Art Institute of 1946.
She took Basic Design and Color with Josef Albers and Painting with Jacob Lawrence. James L Tite wrote of her character in a transfer request letter on August 15, 1947, “I found Miss Williams extremely well-liked and well-adjusted. I can say very little about her professional competence, but as a person I can vouch for her earnestness, her willing cooperation as a member of our community, and her seriousness of purpose.”
