Martha McMillan was a student from fall 1949 to spring 1940.

Before BMC she attended Maryville College 1936-1937 and University of Tennessee 1937-1938. She was known as a photographer. Her work is included in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

2017.40.103 April 26, 1943 bulletin, "Martha McMillan has been asked by both the Marines and the Coast Guard to come into the Public Relations Offices of their Womens Auxiliaries to be official photographer. She is about to make up her mind to join the Coast Guard."
