Marjorie attended the 1945 Summer Art Institute, where she took Weaving with Anni Albers.
Prior to coming to BMC, she attended the University of California at Los Angeles and Cranbook Academy of Arts. She married architect Charles Granger, Jr in 1946 and they made their home in Austin, TX. She was killed in an automobile accident along with her husband and son.
