Dan Haugaard was a student from spring 1950 to fall 1951.

Dan Haugaard (1930-2021) was a painter, entrepreneur, collector and furniture importer. He studied at The Belles Artes in Florence, Italy and at the Instituto Allende in San Miguel De Allende, Mexico. In the 1960s, he and his wife Joan Clegg Haugaard founded Danco Furniture, which imported goods from Denmark and eventually all of Europe. He recorded Danish Folk Songs for Folkways Records.
